It was founded by Ting after she suffered from a traumatic postpartum spine injury and needed the most comfortable walking shoes that minimise stress on the feet and the body. With proprietary insoles that provide stable arch support, Sunnystep shoes can help you stand or walk for the whole day with no pain. Their sleek designs are perfect for work, casual and travel. Since its founding, Sunnystep has quickly gained a loyal following in Singapore and beyond in a short amount of time.

Sales & Operations

Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities 

  • Greet customers who pass by or walk through the door and provide them with exceptional customer service
  • Be an expert in our products and in footwear in general and provide honest recommendations to help customers find the right product and the right fit
  • Organise stocks in the storage room, manage inventory list, and help keep the retail stores clean and organised at all times
  • Follow up on customer orders and make sure all orders are properly fulfilled
  • Provide insights about operational processes, customer complaints and product issues promptly
  • Answer all customer inquiries correctly and maintain good relationships with loyal customers
  • Help colleagues and operations team whenever needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks whenever needed

Requirements

    Community Manager

    Responsibilities 

    • Advocate for Sunnystep products among customers, corporate clients and retail partners; address their concerns and respond to their inquiries in a prompt manner
    • Responsible for addressing inquiries, monitoring complaints and feedback via all channels of communication
    • Engage consumers in the product development process by channelling their feedback to the team, addressing product quality issues and collecting new ideas for product development
    • Maintain and regularly engage customer groups on social media and WhatsApp
    • Engage our online customers regularly with live-streaming activities on various e-commerce and social media platforms
    • Send out newsletters regularly to our customer base; keep customers informed about new product launches and new marketing activities
    • Plan and engage our retail partners with promotional activities and events
    • Organise regular client engagement and appreciation events both online and offline to add value to our clients and keep them engaged in our community
    • Source and send appreciation gifts to VIPs in our community

      Sales Manager

      Responsibilities 

      • Set and execute an aggressive client acquisition strategy for corporate clients to generate revenue
      • Recruit, inspire, lead and scale a high-performing sales team that can achieve revenue targets for corporate sales
      • Identify, develop and manage new client business relationships that drive sales and brand awareness. Initiate and organise corporate events to widen our corporate client base
      • Build satisfied and loyal customers by providing an excellent after-sales experience
      • Develop new marketing partnerships that will raise brand awareness through proactive outreach and network building

      Requirements 

      • A minimum of 5 years experience in leading a high-performing sales team
      • Solid track record of developing and retaining a high-performing sales team
      • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
      • Excellent operational and analytical abilities
      • Comfortable with a very fast-paced start-up environment

      Sales Executive

      Responsibilities 

      • Source corporate sales lead in Singapore and beyond 
      • Manage the client buying journey from start to finish including but not limited to educating potential clients about our unique selling points and providing customised footwear solutions if needed 
      • Meet or exceed the monthly sales target
      • Maintain client relationships and provide top-notch after-sales service
      • Keep the CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so that we can keep improving our sales process
      • Work with cross-functional teams closely to ensure a high customer satisfaction level

      Business Development Associate

      Responsibilities

      • Source for potential business partners including but not limited to other consumer brands, corporate entities, organisations and so on for potential marketing opportunities that can help improve our brand awareness and advocate for the uniqueness of our product and our brand mission
      • Ideate, launch and optimise co-marketing campaigns with strategic partners through webinars, events, email and content sharing to improve our brand awareness, increase sales and expand our community
      • Manage the end-to-end partnership process and work collaboratively with marketing, sales and operations to nurture and deepen our partner relationships 

      Requirements 

      • 1-3 years of sales or business development experience in a consumer product company
      • Excellent at fostering and nurturing relationships

      Operations Executive

      Responsibilities

      • Work closely with the retail sales team to achieve sales target
      • Assist with operations in retail stores and department store counters including but not limited to staffing, sales training, inventory and warehouse management, restocking, renovation and visual merchandising, logistics, customer service, online order fulfilment and so on
      • Liaison with shopping malls and department store buyers on a regular basis on marketing and operational matters
      • Help our retail sales team provide the best customer service to our customers
      • Actively identify and solve any issues in-store operations and people operations in a timely manner
      • Plan and manage in-store promotion events by working closely with the marketing team
      • Assist with online operations including but not limited to campaign planning, inventory management and order fulfilment

      Marketing

        Marketing Manager

        Responsibilities 

        • Generate demand, create strategic brand messaging, and manage the entire customer lifecycle
        • Test and optimise all online and offline demand channels through digital marketing, partnerships, PR, Media
        • Manage content marketing by sourcing and working with a group of designers, writers, photographers and videographers
        • Own the strategy roadmap, lead and drive high performance of SEO, SEM, Performance Marketing, Content Creation and PR
        • Lead the team to constantly optimise the performance of marketing campaigns to lower customer acquisition costs, improve the retention rate of consumers, and increase lead conversions across different channels and audience segments
        • Lead performance marketing from end to end, drive growth through targeting, ad campaign setting, and measurement of key metrics like ROAS
        • Drive brand content and delivery to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. Analyse and track the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns.
        • Oversee marketing budget to optimise for ROI and ROAS
        • Work closely with the PR agency for media pitches and news coverage

        Requirements

        • A roll-up-your-sleeve attitude
        • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing a marketing team and a good track record in growing brand awareness and optimising marketing spend 
        • Expert-level understanding of all paid channels
        • Passionate about a consumer product that impacts people’s lives
        • A highly motivated individual who is willing to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements when needed
        • Have a deep understanding of brand strategy and consumer insights
        • Candidates must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
        • Able to work under stress and thrive in a fast-paced environment

        Marketing Executive

        Responsibilities 

        • Assist with digital marketing content production, such as video making and editing, poster designs and email marketing designs
        • Assist with creating SEO-optimised content and managing SEM campaigns
        • Manage paid social campaigns including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tiktok and so on. Monitor results daily and implements optimisations to hit growth KPIs
        • Improve our customer engagement by planning and organising online and offline marketing events including but not limited to festive campaigns, community newsletters, wellness talks, walking events and so on
        • Support other ongoing marketing initiatives within the team
        • Be open to helping out with ad-hoc tasks and expanding job scope as the company evolves

        Requirements 

        • 1-4 years of marketing experience
        • Graphic design experience is strongly preferred
        • Performance marketing experience is strongly preferred
        • Self-motivated and results-oriented
        • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
        • Able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
