Celebrities dazzle us with their glamorous appearances on the red carpet and the covers of magazines, and it’s hard to believe that they can look bad. However, some of their poor postures can really be off-putting.
(From Left To Right: Justin Bieber, Keira Knightley, Taylor Swift and Emma Watson With Bad Posture)
Fancy accessories and perfect makeup do little to divert our attention from how celebrities look uncomfortable sometimes. (Emma Watson’s Slight Head Tilts)
They don’t teach you this at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but tilting your head to one side like Emma Watson puts uneven stress on your neck and can cause neck strain. The popular “couture hunched” pose looks like this: Place both your arms on your hips and lean your head and shoulders forward while arching your back. Not only does it feel unnatural, but your shoulders and lower back are also sure to ache in protest. This position also compresses your lungs and limits the extent they can expand when you inhale, which means that you have to put in more effort to breathe.

Models were seen creeping along the runway with hunched backs for the Maison Margiela show, but luckily they don’t walk like this in real life. Otherwise, back injuries will surely develop
Remember this viral photo of Kim Kardashian? Even with the assistance of photoshop, this pose that showcases the Kardashian’s champagne balancing skills couldn’t have been done without some serious back arching. Forcing your back to arch so strongly like this would exert immense pressure on the lower spine. It’s no wonder Kardashian herself said: “My back hurt for about a week after that shoot…”
